Reflecting on the last 3 years, I am so grateful. Not going to lie, it’s been a hell of a roller coaster ride featuring epic highs & heart breaking lows. That being said, I wouldn’t change any of those experiences for the world.
There is NO WAY that I would have gotten to where I am today in the healthy mind/soul shape that I am without the amazing humans who have provided their endless love support, shoulders & energy. These are my people – my cheerleaders, accountability partners, my tribe.
With their support, I started dusting off some old dreams & bouncing around new ideas. I felt inspired & before I knew it, the steps to make these dreams a reality started gaining momentum. Which brings us to today & fast forwarding through a lot of “is this the right thing?”, “hell yeah, let’s do the damn thing!”, to “WTF! Am I for real?!”, & “Keep breathing & trust your gut.”
After all the back & forth, I’m really doing it. I have made the tough decision to say goodbye to my awesome teammates & colleagues at Relic Entertainment. I am so thankful for the opportunity & all the people that I have been fortunate to learn from every day, share many belly laughs with, lean into on the tough days & be able to celebrate big & little wins with. I am so incredibly proud of all the great work that the team has been able to accomplish & the positive impact we have been able to create. It’s a chapter in my life that I will cherish & it is an amazing example of when you have a dedicated & values-aligned group (no matter how lean!) that magic can happen.
As I share my news, people have been asking what I am going to do next? Great question, everyone! Call me crazy, but I am still trying to figure that out. The immediate item that is on my list is getting to the airport & kicking off a solo adventure to Australia. It’s been on the bucket list for a while!
What happens next for me professionally is yet to be determined, but I am excited to figure it out. Till then, stay tuned & don’t be a stranger, mate.
